S9 ~ Do You Wanna Dance ~

Do You Want to Dance

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday.  Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

Saturday 9: Do You Want to Dance

1. When was the last time that you danced in public?
a few months ago
2. Tell us about one of your closest friends.
my closest friend is my go to person when I need to vent, cry, figure out math!!! my go to person doesn't ever judge me and may yell a  bit when I need it ( just kidding!!), my closest friend is truly a gift from God. Now my OTHER closest friends have 4 legs and tails and love me even at my worst.
3. What is the most that you have ever lost?
Two husbands that I thought would love me forever.
4. What was the last thing that you have done to help a neighbor?
I picked up some groceries for my Pete. He wasn't feeling so hot last week.
5. It’s election season. What do you think the priorities of the United States really should be?
Getting our finances and services in order. Why are we 452598523555666332222266 in  debt, yet we are still sending money that we don't have elsewhere? Why does the unmarried woman with 42 kids CONTINUE to live off the system and I can't get any help with my medical problems. Why do we invest in bullcrap things when hard working people that have hit hard times, get no help at all. Making over 12k and need to see a doctor? Tough shit. Making 12 babies... what else can we do for you.
6. What was the last severe weather situation that you and your neighbors endured?
2 winters ago we were snowed in several times. One really big one. My neighbor Pete (he's like85) and my neighbor Rich were here doing my driveway, while I made them pots of soup and rolls for 'pay'.
7. Have you been or are you a vegetarian? Thoughts?
I have never been one. I wish I could do it. Th at would be wonderful. I love my chicken and fish though.
8. If you had a wish for your future, what would it be?
To land on my feet.
9. Who just doesn’t get it?

  1. That was nice of you to get those groceries. I hardly speak to my neighbors. Our dogs speak to each other more than we do.

    Have a great Saturday!

    1. I have the most amazing neighbors. when my ex left I was really lucky to meet so many. I have 9 that are GREAT and one couple, gave me the keys to their house when they went away last weekend so I could go over and open the doors and turn the lights on and SWIM! I'm lucky to have them all.

  2. I am not a dancer, with my spinal stenosis, I can barely move my feet. Enjoyed it when I was younger, like the feel of a woman's body next to me. What man doesn't?

I go with dogs as a best friend, older I become, more they become best friend.

I am glad to see you are not very political.

    How has the weekend been?

    XO

Ok, I have to admit, I AM very political, I have just learned from Facebook that keep your mouth shut in a public forum, especially there!!! I am pretty much a die hard Republican and I think Obama has driven the USA right to hell on the fast track. BUT, I don't want my 'page' egged by the opponents ;)

Well, I got a few batches of apple cinnamon biscuits made and other than that, Spikey, Grace, Phoebe and I have been under the covers on the couch watching the Housewives Marathon. Havent answered the phone one time!!!

  3. I take a different stand on politics, I think everyone in Washington DC is to blame. It is time the citizens clear house and put people in office who want to make this country better. The asses and elephants are not doing a good job except for themselves.

Do the dogs share in the biscuits or are they evil things?

No phone is wonderful, do you respond to text?

    XO on your free weekend.

    1. The reason I stick with the Republican party is that I don't think the govt's place is to take care of us and that is what the Dems stand on. I used to vote my heart, back when I was younger, but... i really like the Tea Party!

Spikey and mommy are on diets and Grace is still tiny. NO SNACKS for them ever. They get 2 meals period. nonononono.

  4. I just noticed the comment about the pool, when the neighbors across the street go away, we keep an eye on the house and use their pool. We have to go at night, because I will only skinny dip. I bet that did not surprise you.

  5. What most people do not realize they are nude under their clothes. This should surprise some people.
