Its been quite a day today. Not in a very good way, either. This morning Grace had such a bad seizure that she pooped and peed and threw up and foamed all over the bed. I think we are going to have to go the medicine route. Her seizures are too frequent and getting stronger. It breaks my heart to see her so sick, and she is not herself for at least a day after.
Worked the kennel til 3 then went and washed my bedding and the kennel's towels and rugs. One of the owner's mom passed away Saturday and the funeral was today, so I thought I would help with the laundry. She usually does it. Went back @ 5 til around 7:30
Between 'kennel times' I went to the laundromat. I hate laundromats, but my ex came up with me so it wasn't so bad. It goes faster when you have someone to talk to. Its amazing how well we get along now. I told him I would come over this weekend and help with some spring cleaning, then we are going to lunch on Sunday.
I'm kinda weird about a dinner on Sunday night with the old Tippi people. I had a good time the last time we were together, but bringing my mom ... idk. Weird. I'd rather just stay home. Maybe Becks and I will get a DQ instead!!
So, I'm on a mission to change the way my 'children' eat. Spikey LOVES Wellness dry food, so today I went and got a bag ( $45!!!) for them and a bunch of small cans of the Wellness food, so I can little by little wean them off of wet. I bought a bag for Phoebe too ($30!!!). Oh brother. THEN I was getting litter (at PETCO first bad decision). The brand 'Blue' has litter... FIFTY SIX DOLLARS FOR A 20 LB BAG!!! For the cat to CRAP IN!! omg. Needless to say, we got Johnny Cat for 9bucks. So... $85 at PETCO...where the pets go. I did see a most ADORABLE dress for Grace. A little yellow and white gingham with tiny little flowers on it. $15. I am going to buy her that one day soon.
So then I picked up a WW Pizza for Rose and I and now I am drying the sheets for the bed. I should have taken them to the laundromat too, but I was an idiot. That's OK, I cherish 'quiet time' in the basement. I should hook up this printer down here and download my Microsoft office and do my homework here, but ... I got nothing. Just lazy I guess.
Tomorrow I am going to get myself a pedicure. I need one so badly and although I swore I wasn't going to blow my entire pay, I already blew most of it so...
Tonight, when I came down to do some laundry I found an old tshirt that I used to wear all the time. So I rewashed it (its been in the basket for over a year) and I'm going to wear it to bed tonight. My Empire shirt and my MvR shirt are a little heavy for these beautiful nights. Funny, after all these years, it still feels good to me.
Well, I'm going to go play some 'words with friends' b4 I go and do the bed ( I JUST changed the bed Sunday, too. No real complaints, the nights are perfect and breezy and clean sheets is the icing on the cake ). I hope you had a perfect day.
