Neon Lights
Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!
BEGINNING THIS WEEK ... comments for each week's Sat 9 will be closed late Monday night. Last week's post was spammed so heavily by porn bots (!) that it was taken down. Deleting more than 70 "adult" links would have literally driven Sam crazy. And Friday morning through Monday night should give everyone plenty of time to play.
Thanks to Helena at Quick Sticky Bits for flagging this.
Saturday 9: Neon Lights (2013)
Unfamiliar with this week's tune? Hear it here.
1) Think of a neon sign you pass by often. What does it say?
open
2) In the video for this song, Demi Lovato spends a great deal of time in the water. When is the last time you swam?
last summer
3) The song encourages us to "look up at the sky." OK, we will. How does the sky look where you are today?
clear day today, the sun is setting now.
4) Demi is a contributing editor for Seventeen magazine. When she was in junior high school, Crazy Sam eagerly awaited each new issue of Seventeen. When you were younger, what magazine(s) did you read regularly?
Seventeen and Glamour
5) Demi is an investor in the company that makes Texas Tea, a bottled beverage available at Whole Foods. Do you have any tea in your kitchen right now?
Always, and one right next to me too.
6) Demi is currently on tour, performing halfway around the world in Australia and New Zealand. Have you ever had a job that required travel?
No!
7) Demi had a recurring role on the show Glee. That show's series finale aired last month. Is there a show that's no longer on that you miss?
Not really. I could do without TV
8) Fast-growing fast food chain Chipotle reports that their top sellers include a burrito bowl with steak or chicken, salad with chili-corn salsa, and a soft taco. Which of these would you order?
Neither. I am kind of over Mexican food. Can't even think about it.
9) What beverage would you like to enjoy with your burrito bowl, taco or salad?
Always, Iced Tea or Ice Water with Lemon.

Iced water with lemon in it is the only way I can drink water. Kinda sad. This week's meme is making me hungry for Mexican now, which is *really* odd for me. LOL. Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteLiving in CA for 4 years and eating Mexican all the time is what I think just made me tired of it. Maybe one day!! xoxo
DeleteThere is very, very limited Mexican food here in Northern Maine so I'm always excited when I'm in the city and get some.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh Northern Maine! My dream is to visit that area. I hope there is plenty of Italian Restaurants!
DeleteI never have lemon in my water when I am out dining, not since I read that most restaurants never wash the lemons, and sometimes they even reuse the lemon slices.
ReplyDeleteI always take my own baggie of lemons. I agree on trusting restaurants!! I do embarrass my family though with my baggie!
DeleteI am a lemon person too. I love throwing some into my drinks.
ReplyDeleteIn California, Mexican food is kind of the norm!
ReplyDeleteSay, I'm taking my own lemons now, because it's usually water with lemon that I order. And, I did without TV for a long time and don't regret a minute of it. DVDs and VCRs gave the movie fix. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe biggest reason I take my own lemons, is they usually give those little slices. Noooo no no. I like LEMON with my water!
