Too Close
1) This song is about a friendship that turned romantic ... and it doesn't end happily. Have you ever crossed that line with a friend? If so, how did it work out?
Just recently. Seems to be working just fine!
2) When he was a kid, this week's singer, Alex Clare, listened to his dad's Stevie Wonder records. When you were in 7th/8th grades, what music were you into?
Carol King. Phoebe Snow. Its been a thousand years since I was in 7th grade!
3) "Too Close" has been featured on the TV show, The Vampire Diaries. Do you enjoy shows/books/movies about the supernatural?
Not really.
4) Some of Alex Clare's tour dates were sponsored by Bud Light. Do you like beer?
really really REALLY Cold beer.
5) Mr. Clare trained to be a chef, just in case the music thing didn't work out. Are you a good cook?
I'm OK.
6) Crazy Sam is forever running out of mayo because she slathers it on her sandwiches. What is currently on your grocery list?
I don't shop til the 5th. So I haven't started yet. 7) Where are you most likely to find spare change -- between the sofa cushions, in your jeans as you toss them into the washer, or under the floor mat of your car?
In the washer! 8) How did you spend your Friday night -- working late, hanging out with friends, or just enjoying a quiet night at home?
I like quiet nights at home. Although I am dating, I can't let it get serious, so I would usually rather be alone at home. I have 3 dogs and a cat to keep me company!
9) Do you use Pinterest?
Obsessively!!
I just love getting the guys off to bed for that 'home alone' feeling! I've no dogs, mind you, but two in your picture look the double of my son's dog! I'll have to blog about him sometime - he's a right little scamp!
ReplyDeleteI have step kids from a previous marriage, who I raised, so I know the relief of getting them off to bed, but they are in their 40s now, so... I have my fur kids!!
