Well, it’s Wednesday, and its noon and I am still awake! I got
up at 8 and have been awake ever since. This new medicine is killer and I am
learning to force myself to do things so I don’t sleep constantly. Its been
quite a week. Sunday my sister threw me a graduation party with family and of
course, cards. Monday we had a Tippi dinner which turned into a mini grad party
and last night my girlfriends threw a little girlfriends party. I have gotten
some sweet cards from friends that just wanted to say congratulations.
Today is my house cleaning day, my bird
feeding day ( I haven’t been able to go out in the yard in a week!) and I have
to run out and pick up my vacuum cleaner. I feel good today. I feel blessed. I
had a little rift with my guy the other day because I insisted on paying for
his dinner Monday night. Not a rift, but a bruised ‘male ego’ thing. But he is
SO good to me, and I wanted to return the favor. Those west side Chaney
guys!!!
Last night at dinner a guy came over to
me and said ‘are you Mair’ , I said ‘guilty as charged’ he said I am Randy, we
went to high school together and we are friends on facebook!!! How cool is
that! He bought all of us a drink and chatted for a bit. When he saw us
continue eating ( it WAS DAVIDSONS after all!! ) he politely excused himself!!
Hilarious! Kathy said ‘dang, we can’t take you anywhere’!!!
Well, I have some phone calls to make.
