Quiet

Its been a quiet uneventful weekend. Glad its over, now I can get back to getting the house done, the new pictures put up, the new rug scrubber put to work.

• Friday was quiet and I stayed in and had a little pizza and some wedding soup from Uptown Pizza. It was delish and just hit the spot. Went to bed early mainly because of some stuff happening on the scanner I just wanted to follow.
• Saturday was busy! Up early early and went to WalMart to get  some essentials then at 8 a TON of family met at Panera for breakfast! We were there forever, but left with cheeks hurting and belly's sore from carrying on!! Then I went over to John's house so he could clean my headlamps. He took them off and sanded and buffed them. Then he put new bulbs in, even where they weren't needed, and shined up the Hyundai! Then we went for a walk with his mom and neighbor and everyone's dogs. He made us all lunch on the grill and we sat around and talked for quite awhile. Then later on he and I went to see Monuments Men (AWESOME). Then we stopped at LaVilla to bs with some of our friends. Late but good night. He is such a great guy, and we have decided ( OK, I decided for us) that we are going to keep it on a friend level, and if he meets (another) a great gal, I'll be fine with it but until then, we will be just 'us' and no pressures.
• This morning while i was getting ready for church, Grace started having a seizure. I ran out and got dressed and I stayed home with her. I asked for prayer for her on Facebook, and honestly, she takes a good day , day and a half, to recoup from a seizure, and about 4 she chased Spikey out the back door and they ran and played with Casey for about a half an hour. So, I felt alright going to my sister's for dinner. Tonight, my brother in law said something that meant SO MUCH to me. I was leaving and I said "see you Friday, or Saturday" (my dad's birthday would be Friday, so I am going to see Son of God in the morning, for some quiet time, and my sis said she would like to go to.) and he said "come over anytime. We eat dinner every night and we hate to see you alone." I joked about wearing out my welcome and he said " I just want you to know that the weekends are my favorite time when we spend them with you." I cried the whole entire way home. I adore my family.
• Well, its almost 2 am, and even though I have decided to just stay in tomorrow, I do have to get up KIND OF EARLY, and hit my goals for Monday!! hahaha. I have 12 orders for cookies/banana bread/dog biscuits. Oh my exciting life!!
