What a beautiful day this has been. We were kinda sorta busy today at work, then it started to snow again and the whole world became beautiful again. I had to take some tests today for graduation, and for exit loan counseling. My final loan bill will be 29,600. Yeah, I almost died, but the girl I did all my stuff with owes 60+k. She went for Medical Assistance with a minor in HIT… Health Information Technology. They have to pay for all the fun things. Stethoscopes, uniforms, shoes, lab coats, plus externship costs, so maybe I got off easier than she did! But she is 26 and is just starting out and already has a job at North Side Hospital, so circumstances are very different. But we had to take our Exit Exams today as well. Ropes with tassels come in a variety of colors -3 that go by your ‘successes’. The first rope you must score 436, second 520 and up. The highest number represents how incredibly smart you are, you get ropes and tassels and a medal. I scored a 433L. I missed a rope and tassel by 3 points. I so wanted to make my family proud of me walking across the stage. Well, I am sure they still will be, but mom, dad and I would have known what that rope represented.

While I was at work I got a call from my ex and said he was making stuffed peppers and mashed potatoes and wondered if I wanted to join him and Brendan for dinner. I said sure! Stopped at Jimmy’s Deli and got a nice loaf of fresh baked Italian bread and some éclairs, and some butter!! I know that he uses icky margarine and we weren’t having that with fresh bread. I hate margarine anyway, gross. When we were eating B had a piece, two pieces, THREE pieces of bread and he said “What IS THIS?” I said butter… dang gramps, why don’t we ever have this, it’s delicious!!!!! Paul laughed and said ask her how much she spent for THAT! 2.79. He said I spend .59. So Brendan said “ill buy the butter from now on”. It was cute. They are coming over this Saturday to help me do some things that need done and I just don’t have the strength to do these days. I am thankful.

I was concerned about Saturday, John and I are going out to a country bar to hear his friends that are in a band. But really, if push came to shove, Paul would win anytime. He is my comfy old shoe, if you will. It will always be very important to have him in my life again.

I am looking forward to next week. A bunch of cousins are getting together in Pittsburgh for a night out, and an overnighter. We promised to do it once every couple of months after we had SO MUCH FUN at Gabriel’s wedding. Pittsburgh this time, we’ll make plans for the next time, Friday night. Very exciting!

Well, time to close. I have an Environmental Science Midterm in the morning. Enjoy your evening!!
