I Amuse Myself
Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we also have our rules. First, we always credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's post. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") We do sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme.
Let's go!!!

But the word "love" turns up rather often in your favorite book! I don't wear my faith on my sleeve, but I remember what John wrote about this very time of year: "God so loved the world that He gave His only Son and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." And isn't it Corinthians that includes that passage about love that every bride and groom today seems to include in their vows? "Love is patient, love is kind ..." So the Bible sings the praises of romantic love, too. I don't have any romantic love in my life right now, but I certainly believe in it. And your favorite book helped inform this opinion.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right! I guess I was thinking of the romantic love. The IN LOVE, love. I thought I had it twice, and gave it my all, and twice I was the only one 'giving', and I was hurt beyond words. That is the LOVE that I was thinking of! xo have a great week, and thank you for the eye opener.
DeleteI hope Spikey feels better! And even though I am the biggest cynic about it ever, I still believe in love. I don't think I'll ever give up thinking that some day I'll find it.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to report that Spikey is fine! A couple rounds of ear drops and baby aspirin and lots of prayer and he is back chasing the other 'kids' around!!
DeleteI live close to my sister--we're half a block apart.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be closer to my sister. She is about 5 miles away, but she is my helper in oh so many ways!! Have a great week!!
DeleteI have lost my sanity too....
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I am not alone!!! Have a super week!!
DeleteSanity gone here as well. I love your answer to #2 - perfect. I prefer photography over art as well. Glad I stopped by. :)
ReplyDeleteLoved your second answer. Truly a great self help book. And, being a doggie lover, I'm so glad Spikey is better.
