It's Thanksgiving in the States! Wishing everyone a lovely holiday!

1. What do you have for breakfast on Thanksgiving?
I live alone, so unless I have a breakfast 'date', its rye toast w/ cc and an egg.
2. Do you go to a Thanksgiving parade or watch one on TV?
I am not a fan of parades, but last year I went with a friend, after breakfast. It was too dang cold for me.
3. Do you serve appetizers, lunch, or snacks during the day?
I make goodies and take them with me to my sisters
4. What are the traditional favorites?
I don't like turkey, but I love stuffing and cranberries.
5. What new recipes will you try this year?
my sister gave me a 'cheap' what to bring this year because of financial reasons, but I found a great cranberry recipe on Pinterest... http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/print/recipe/orange-cranberry-sauce?css=recipe_with_image
6. What part of the meal do you never compromise?
Gravy.
7. Who gets to carve the turkey?
My brother, or brother in law or cousin Scott
8. Family style around the table or buffet style and everyone sits wherever there’s room?
we usually have between 26-50, depending on the year... my sis is having 50 this year. Its always buffet style, but there are always at least 3 tables set.
9. How many will be at your table this year?
see above... but not my table. I think I am going to do it next year. The house looks beautiful and I want to entertain my family and friends.
10. Once you're at the table, do you say grace or a toast or does everyone go around and say what they're thankful for?
My cousin Scott is always the one to lead us in prayer, then we say what we are thankful for , if we feel like it.
11. Cranberry sauce… yay or nay?
Yeppers!!
12. What time do you eat Thanksgiving Dinner?
4 this year. Its planned around games. Football games I meant to say.
13. Three best pies for Thanksgiving dessert?
We always have some pumpkin...that's a given, but we have dutch apple and a cream pie.
14. Do you have dessert right after the main meal or later on?
Its your choice. They are out, you decide if you are hungry or not.
15. Favorite leftover?
Stuffing and cranberries.
That is a *lot* of people to entertain.
