TEN THOUGHT TUESDAY ~ and its actually Tuesday ~

Rarely, if ever do I get to doing TTT on a Tuesday! Today must be extraordinary.

1. So, my brother in law counted all the bricks in the patio and is going to get me some red ones, to alternate, and after the last thaw, he is going to pull up my patio and cut back the tree roots (or I am going to just have him and my friend cut it down) and fix that patio.
2. He is also going to fix that dang faucet in the back yard, AND put one in the garage. Ergo saving me a PRETTY penny this spring.
3. The tree next to the dining room window is coming down and I am thinking about the girls and I painting the fence white.
4. I'm extremely lucky that I have so many people that make my life so much easier. All they want is a BBQ and the fire pit and Bud Lite. hahaha. Sounds easy enough to me.
5. Had the ambulance here tonight. My mom is getting more ... I"m not sure how to explain it. She will NOT in any way, shape or form HELP us, like standing up, she just folds her knees so I have to do all the work. I had gotten her room ready tonight around 7, changed her bed, emptied the trash, sprayed Lysol all over and got her ice and water all ready. As I took her from her lift chair at 730, to get her in the wheelchair, as she refuses to walk, she buckled her legs under and sat on the floor. I called my brother to come and help me, and my sis showed up, and Sheila and Tommy and Ange, but no one could get her up. So we called Hospice and they sent an ambulance. So, at 10 o'clock, I finally got everyone booted out. omg I am SO not a compassionate care giver to my mom. I was ( or I THINK I was) compassionate when Paul almost died from all the fluid in his lungs. We were going through a really rough patch at the time, but I loved him and wanted to make his life good, and easier. And my second husband, I think I was a good wife when he was sick, in fact I still worry when he isn't well. But my mom... idk.
6. I think I am going to put a new shed in lay away next pay. I don't really need one, but I'd like to have one to store my stuff, and that looks pretty. To match my house. I could get rid of the one I have now. Make that backyard look like it belongs in Home and Gardens!!
7. My brother's surgery is scheduled for the week I have off. I am so happy he is going to finally get that done, but now I have to find a second care giver for mom. I booked one for the nights I am at school til 10, but in the mean time, I need to get one at the end of April.
8. One of my coworkers today said "you look so pretty with your new clothes and JEWELRY!" I just laughed. I am kind of liking those new watches and bracelets. Its nice to hear 'pretty' from my friends. Sheila told me tonight she loved the 'new me'. I love that little girl!!
9. I am getting tired, so I'm going to waste this one and jump to no. 10!!
10. Thank You Lord. For blessing me beyond my wildest dreams. I am blessed. xo
