This has been a crazy weekend. With my mom, and baking for the wedding, and cooking for the wedding my mom, my everything . Ugh. I am glad to be home with my babies. Friday was crazy. Well, it started Thursday with my mom falling and breaking her hip. Then Friday , I had so much shopping and baking to do after visiting her at the hospital. I was up so late, but in good company. Then Saturday I decorated the cake and cupcakes then went to my ex's house and we peeled and cooked 30 lbs of potatoes. We had so much fun, but some things were said , some remarks made that made me know why we are divorced. I do love him, we have a ball when we are together, but there are a couple of areas that he can't get over and a couple that I can't get over, and a comment was made that settled the fact we will always be friends, but we will never be together. Sad and glad.

Life is alright for both of us, and we will continue to cherish what we had. Today was Raelene's wedding. I cried when the priest talked about vows. Wedding vows. 2 marriages and 2 divorces and it hit pretty hard. But I made it through without looking a mess. The wedding was beautiful, the reception perfect and coming home, was what I wanted to do most. The day was beautiful. I am blessed that my step kids call me mom, and their kids call me MAIR!! hahahah. I think my ex took offense when one of the guys that is friends with Mike asked if I would like to go out to dinner sometime. My 'grandson' said " She is my grandpa's ex wife and friend, don't ask her out in front of him". As I saw the look on his face, I smiled. Made me feel good.
