Wednesday. Night. Musings.

• some days are totally worth getting up and enjoying.
• some days are a total blessing from the time you put your feet on the ground.
• some days, joy fills your heart AND your soul.
• this morning, when the alarm sounded, spikey was laying in my arms, when I reached over to shut the alarm off, he gave me a little kiss. That little guy just makes my day. Everyday.
• For some reason, what usually takes me an hour in keyboarding took me 3! Maybe it was the picture taking and the blogging... idk.
• I get home from school... no mom! Tommy took her somewhere, so I took everything Christmas down from outside, salted what was still ice and cleaned the garage. HAPPY GIRL!
• The plumber came over today and had to 'root' the basement drain. I have to put something over that water thingie. Anywho, he gave me a price of 125.00 last night. Today, he only charged me 50.00!!! So I gave him some sauce and some dessert for his family. BlEsSed!
• My girlfriend Andrea and I took the 'kids' for a walk tonight. I walk to her house and we walk the 'hood'. Gem and Spikey get along fabulously. Gem (Gemini) is a Rott and my peanut LOVES the big dogs. He has to watch though because Gem doesn't like the once over from the boys. She gives Spikey a grrrrrr when he gets 'frisky'.
• I love my neighbors. I swear that what should take us an hour, stretches into 2...or 3!!
• Today I felt so good! When I was walking to Andreas, a little girl and her friends were building a snowman a few blocks away. When she sees me coming she yells "Hi Miss Mary". Not having my glasses on I can't see who she is, and when I get up close its my neighbor Carrie's daughter. Its nice when people know your name.
• Tomorrow I am going to order my mixer. I'm torn. Should I get the white commercial mixer or the one I am in love with, the cinnamon one. Both 7 qt mixers, but... the commercial is more hp and has one of those fancy orange plugs!!! But the cinnamon colored one is cinnamon colored... feel free to help me decide.
• Has anyone used Windows 8 yet? Its on the desktop I am getting, but I've heard only ugly things about it. Help!!
• Well, let me get back to my laundry (I'm so backed up because my DRAIN was so backed up) and a little Bejeweled before I start on my Essay for tomorrow.
