the good the bad and the ugly

Its been a weird week here at the Frichtel Ranch. School was rough, finals are in two weeks and I am striving to do well. The only real trouble I am having is in Microsoft Office. And its REAL, let me tell you. My Law teacher loves me, well, she loves my dog biscuits, and we are the same age, so we really get along well. Except for the fact she wants me to get involved in our local chapter of Gay Pride (she would like me to bake and cook for the events...  no ), we get along famously. So, I'm really doing good in her class. My accounting class is TOUGH let me tell you, but I am bound and determined not to EVER let anyone else be in charge of my finances, my business finances or anything else when it comes to money. So knowing Accounting is top priority! My accounting teacher thinks I should change my major TO accounting, but that is too much math for me. I do have him again next term for Payroll Accounting.

This week I met with an advertising girl who will be taking over the promoting of doggone yummy. Hopefully you will see my website up and running in the near future. Its going to cost a little money, but I am  giving it to The Lord, and hoping he will bless my venture.  I have asked my brother to work along side of me while I get this going. He is now disabled, so work won't be all consuming to him. My sister and I were talking about 'what would you do, where would you go, if it got to the point that you and Doggone-Yummy took off! We toyed with LA, NYC, Chi-town, but I told her ''honestly, there is a row of brick buildings, abandoned, downtown next to the prison. If I could buy and renovate a place, that would be it.'' I am a Youngstown girl, born and raised and honestly, I would try and make it successful from home''. Then we laughed about how her and I would be the ones that flew around the country promoting the business while Tommy and the girls ran the show from home!!! I love dreaming...

Yesterday my mom was once again 'my mom'. As she is now preparing to die (she's not), she says to me "you know, when I die, and IF you are ever successful, the men are only going to want you for MY money, and your business. You better realize they never want you for you, you have never had anything to offer anyone, so watch out and stay away from  men. I don't want MY money going to YOUR lovers. ". ....  the love of my mother.  She says she could never figure out why anyone wanted ME for a wife in the first place, then she said ... oh obviously the didn't.  She is my ego booster. Do you know ANY mom that speaks to their kids in such a way?  smh.

Last night was fun with Tommy and my nieces and Michael and the kids. We had pizza and watched movies and my brother just loved having family time with his kids/grandkids. What an awesome night.

Well, I am going to attempt some homework. Have a great Sunday ...
