Black Friday ... whatever!!

So, my sis and I have our Friday breakfast date every week and we decided to come to the Panera in the Target plaza because its closer for me. Well, this morning I told her maybe we should just keep our usual Canfield Panera due to the Black Friday traffic. So we did, and as usual had a great time! Then my brother joined us, him and Meg are going to my cousin Barry's house today. They carpooled with my aunt and uncle.     Anywho... I had to sign some business papers at the bank, which is at the corner of South Ave and 224. I'm thinking ... oh  my gosh this is going to be horrible. Au Contraire. the traffic and t he mall and the Target Plaza and all the way up... just like a Saturday. A little bit of traffic, but nowhere near what I expected to come up against.

Well, last night turned out pretty OK. I was so feeling badly for missing my family dinner, then Scott and Dan brought over dinner, and then I had a not so surprising visitor so we put Rose to bed and went out and sat around the fire pit til the wee hours. I guess life isn't really ever worth that pity party I was having!

Spikey seems to be feeling so much better today. The sun is shining bright, its a little  nippy, but still beautiful and him and Grace and P are running around the back yard like crazies!! The squirrels our out, I just filled the feeders and the suet so the birds are going from tree to tree and they are just loving the day. I have lucky babies to have that yard and each other (not to mention the tremendous mom they have ;p  )!!

Well, I am going to go play some words with friends then get back to baking.
