Today was weird. First I almost got run off the road by some chick smoking and texting. Reminded me of the day that Bri and Sheila and I almost got plowed into by a semi. Just this HUGE flashback. I'd tell you the story, but you probably have all heard it a time or 3. Then after our test today we had a movie. Too Big To Fail, I think was the title. Dang. It was all about the financial crash in 2008. The biggest portion was made out of CNN news clips. I remember those clips so well. I was working at Guckenheimer, in Santa Ana and whenever we had a break, this was on. I remember going home and just feeling so safe once I was in my home with my husband and 'the kids'. I feared that we would never be able to buy a home, but it was surreal at the peace I always felt once I hit the family room. Total serenity. Then I had to use the .... well, you know, and I got a drink in the fountain while I was out there. The water was freezing cold. When I was in the 3rd grade at St Dom's, we had really shitty drinking fountains. Then one day they installed an AITO. Don't ask me how I remember those letters, but they were on the little handle. The water was FREEZING. On our little breaks we would beg the teacher to take us to the "ATTA" fountain. How do I remember things and not my Business or HR assignments is beyond me.
Well, its 231 and I have to work on my PowerPoint for class next week, then I have biscuit deliveries and a little date night with my nieces. They both leave next weekend. My heart is breaking as I type this. I went out and bought some cute boxes that I am going to fill with 'stuff' and send to them for Halloween. Or, probably earlier!! I think we are going to have a little get away to West Virginia one weekend, just the girls. Catch a football game and love on poor Sheshe!!! Can't wait for my own getaway shortly. Put In Bay, here we come!!!
