Quite a somber day here in the library. I have been making some decisions based on 'feelings' and I am feeling kind of like I like it! I am working on my English speech for tomorrow ( last speech of the year!! hooray!!). Its a poem by E.E. Cummings titled I Carry Your Heart With Me (I Carry It In My Heart).

I have to analyze it and dissect it stanza by stanza. I cannot wait to get my last speech of the quarter done and over with!!
Business Law was great today. I only missed a couple on the quiz, so it'll be a lot of studying for the final next Thursday. There weren't too many of us in class today (honestly, why enroll if you aren't going to attend?) so we packed up and went to Denny's for class. We spent the morning there and  had our class. We have class at Denny's Monday as well. As soon as we give our reports we get to leave early.  I am glad for that because we are having a memorial service for my dad at NEOUCOM  at 1 o'clock. That will be OK, I'm glad its all over. It'll be interesting because one of my family members hasn't spoken to me in eons. I tried to be the better person and make amends last night only to get shit on royally. So, some of it will be awkward, but when I go home I don't have anything quilting me. Enough BS.

Well, bad news, the girls are abandoning the kennel in July. It makes me cry thinking about it, but it will give me a little more ambition to go to Angels or one of the other Rescues in my area and help out more often. What a shocker that was. Heartbreaking.

Hoping for a warm weekend next weekend when the 4 of us and our 'kids' head up to the lake for some MUCH NEEDED R & R. Woo hoo!! No drama weekend!!! :-) Sometimes I can't believe how much bullshit I have endured with ex wives, kids, infidelity ....... its nice to be able to just be able to trust the ones I am with. I foresee alot of time at the lake this summer, and I also think some major changes will be coming about soon.

Well, back to the books. 4 more classes til vaca!! Friday Oral Communications (English), Monday Ethics, Thursday Business Law and Friday Oral Communications. Next week all finals...whew did this quarter fly.
