Ten Thought Tuesday a little late...

1. This is the necklace I bought my niece Sheila for her high school graduation gift. Nothing feels better than handing them a little box from Tiffany & Co. to make them smile. 
2. I wasn't going to mention my mom, but I will ask for prayer for her if you are a praying person. I was afraid of the surgery, then I was OK, then after today, I'm not sure again. 
3. Today is my wonderful sister's birthday. She's the baby. 48. where did the years go?
4. I truly love my Ethics class and the teacher. I was afraid at first, we have totally different political views, but if she wasn't my teacher, I'd love having her as a friend. 
5. Speaking of friends... Mine are the best. I am truly TRULY blessed.
6. Every day I drive by the jail and I drive by that CCA on Market Street. THAT is where I would really love to work. Not as a guard or anything that an overweight 53 year old needs to deal with prisoners, but just IN the environment, the office, the LOOP!! Why did I drop out of YSU in 78...why. 
7. I love my neighbors. The ones that live on my little street, the ones that walk their dogs, the ones that stop just to talk. Blessings.
8. Yesterday was my mom's surgery, so this is never going to initially come out as I intend it, but my brother and sister and I had such a great day! We were at the hospital at 4:45 am, so it was a slow start...but we have SUCH a great relationship that as we had breakfast together, then dinner together we just laughed and talked about our memories, and friends... 
9. On the 'flip side', it was hard. We just watched our dad go through hell and die just a little over a year ago. We were dealing with a lot of emotions all day. 
10. I am going to miss school tomorrow. NOTHING bothers me more than that.
