taking a study break

Ive been down here studying and wondering what kind of a challenge this Ethics class is going to be. I have 2 chapters to read and I could listen to it on Audio, but the basement computer has no sound and the upstairs is always BLARING HLN and I am a total silence studier.   I am having my niece come and help me with 'study guides'. Its been 35 years and honestly, I haven't a clue what a study guide is. Sheila is a 4.0 with amazing study habits, so I'm going to ask for help from the best. To be honest, I'm scared.

Today I got up early, went and voted, took Rose to vote, went to the Post Office to pick up my certified IRS mail and stopped at the store. I'm not feeling 100% today, so I took the day off to regroup and do my curtains!! I feel like I go go go go go from morning til night, yet I have minimum income to show for all the work I do. I know...kwitcherbitchin.

We had so much fun last night. I do have one 'bitch' though. I wish a certain someone would keep out of my business. There is a guy there that has been friends with a few of my friends for 40 years, and he and I became friends through them about 25 years ago. Last night I hear this @#$%^& saying to my mom "Look at that sparkle in her eye when she talks to him". Bitch, my eyes don't sparkle for ANYONE and just because YOU have to lay with everyone that catches your eye, I DON'T. So, stick my twinkle where the sun don't shine. You KNOW what I am about, stop trying to make me 'have someone'. See those books over there? The only 'someone' I have for the next 2 years is college.  wow. I tend to get my point across pretty well, huh?

Ethics. My ethics teacher is a criminal defense lawyer. Oxymoron. Yesterday she asks 'those of you who claim to be a Christian, tell me the 10 Commandments.' So we did. I said Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbors Goods. She didnt' write it down. Someone of a different race than I shouted it out after me"Go Lakquaknda". oh brother. So she goes on to tell us how the 10 commandments are not for today. oh my. How many of you swear? She writes OMG on the board. How many of you have other gods? Well, we had an earlier 'game' where 98 percent said their dream was money, so there are the other gods. ( One girl wanted to marry an actor or hip hop singer or someone, and I wanted to own a kennel. She said that Dogs were my god and not even to think about marrying a celeb. ) Anywho, she pointed out that only 2 commandments were punishable by law, thou shalt not kill and thou shalt not steal. Other than that, its out dated. THEN she went on to bash RUSH! All I can say is its going to be a long 12 weeks!! The black white ratio is 18 blacks/6 whites.  2 of the white girls are lovers and the 2 white guys are married. Then there is me and John someone. smh.

Well, the curtains are in the rinse mode, so I need to Downey them and get back to Ethics. 1 class down for the week, 2 to go!  L8R
