Friday Night on Annawan Lane

I am so beat tonight. What a horrible night I had last night. I was so dang tired so around 9 something I said g'nite to Roz and grabbed the kids and fell right asleep. Thank goodness, the kennel is so exhausting and I had a 9 am appt w. the groomers. (since I missed the one the day b4 yesterday) so ahhhhh sleep. Til 11:57 rolled around. I was belching like when you drink soda. Loud and deep. Oh gosh, I knew what was coming. I went into the bathroom and from midnight til about 5 am I was puking in the trash can while...well you know what else I was doing!! I was shaking and freezing and sweating, the dogs were scared to death, and Roz, slept like a baby through it all!  I woke up to the phone ringing at 8 am seeing if I could help out for longer than usual at the kennel this weekend. I said "sure" and when I hung up I called and RE RESCHEDULED the groomers til tomorrow and went back to sleep til 10. What a night.

My sleeping is so off, I have to get into a schedule next week so that I am in that 'back to school' mode for the 5th! Krista and I have orientation on the 1st, so I think we are going to make a  day of it. 8-1 orientation and maybe that new Mexican place on Belmont for lunch. ( as long as my bowels are back to normal!!!!)  We are both so excited. We will be in school together...pseudo mom and pseudo daughter!! <3

One of the day care dog's mom came in today and said "Mair!! I have someone I want you to meet!! He is PERFECT for you". I had to say my now rehearsed speech that I truly am not looking, not ready and not interested. "He drives a Hummer"!! Hahaha! One thing I have learned about men, is the 'cooler their car, the bigger their ego, the more they are not my type'.

Well, I am beat and I could really use a good nights sleep. Have an awesome weekend!! Pulling double shifts all weekend at the kennel ( too bad I don't actually get paid to do this!!!) due to one of the owners going out of town and the other suffering from a serious lack of interest these days. Her marriage is heading south and well... sometimes you have a hard time functioning when that happens.   Have a fantabulous weekend!!
